could men use mary kays skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

i mean like is it only for women , cause i went to the website and its all pink and stuff and it says "enriching womens ives" so my question is could i use their products(facial products) cause i hear they have great skin care products for acne

My husband uses the MK. On the moisturizer I popped a pump on there ($1 extra) so its silver and white instead of pink. The cleanser he keeps in the shower…and anyone looking would think it was mine. But…nobody goes in our master bath anyway. Recently they had a men’s gift set that had the packaging done in platinum. If you contact your consultant she/he can get it for you. However if you use the basic line (which is probably what you heard about) you probably need that moisturizer not the fancy packaged one. I know all of this was probably confusing but you can go to www.MaryKay.com and type in your zip code on the consultant locater if you don’t already have one and they can explain all the details for you. ;) Good Luck!

What is the best facial care product for acne skin?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

Acne is caused, basically, by dirt in the skin pores.

A steam bath by regularly getting a vessel full of steaming water and putting your face over it, covered with a towel will help the pores to open up and release the dirt particles there.

Also, rinsing with a saline solution of a glass of water with 6 tablespoons dissolved in in while heating it to warm, will help clean out any viruses and bacteria.

Turmeric is a tried and tested proven antiseptic astringent. Make a paste of powdered dried turmeric root and apply a light layer by rinsing on all your face down to the neck. Allow it to dry and then wash it off.

You can get turmeric powder in any shop that sells Asian culinery items because they use it in their food.

Keep this treament regular for a few weeks and see the difference it’ll make on your skin, which will start have a very healthy glow about it!?

Merry Christmas!!!!

The Body Shop Aloe Vera facial skin care range. Your experiences?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

My skin has always been super sensitive and since I was a teenager I have tried the following ranges: No7, Simple, Clinique and Avene. I had beautiful skin before I used Clinique 3 step and it messed it up completely. Now I am using Avene range but I am not completely satisfied with it. I am thinking fo switching to the Body Shop Aloe vera facial products btu I don’t want to waste my money. Are they very good? And are they really suitable for sensitive skin?

From personal experience of having sensitive skin I used the body shop aloe Vera facial, honestly it was good on my skin however I couldn’t afford to keep up with it, so I recently grew my own aloe Vera plant. Every week or so I split a leaf open with my fingers (with clean hands) and rub the aloe on my face with a small amount of warm water. I think you should give it a go try both, but I would advise you to leave it on for around 10 Min’s just to be sure you don’t get a bad reaction. If it doesn’t work out email me as i have some natural remedies for sensitive skin. All the best.

Skin care for sensitive skin?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

I have a big problem finding skin care products (facial products) that do well with my skin.
No matter what kind of facial cleaner and moisturizer I try my skin breaks out. My face is very dry this time of year and looks awful if I don’t properly clean and moistureize it.

Can anyone suggest a brand that may help me and a routine that you may follow? . I’m desperate.

I have this same problem. Right now, I use Oil of Olays Regenerist. They have it in no scent and its very mild. Unfortunately its expensive but you really dont need much. Clean and Clear also has good face lotion thats mild. I think its like Morning Glow or something. Good luck!

You may not want to use a cleanser, just warm water. Wal Marts Equate brand of foaming face wash is pretty gentle. Water it down till its just a light foam and wash.

Do I use too many skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

In the morning in the shower I use Noxzema daily facial, Noxzema daily exfoliation, Clean & Clear blackhead scrub, and Clearasil daily facial.

At night I use Clearasil gel, and Biore ice skin facial. Is this too much?

Yes. All you need is a gentle cleanser (one that doesn’t sting your eyes) and a moisturizer both morning and night. And yes, everyone needs moisturizer, whether you think you do or not.

Using too many products & not using a moisturizer will strip your skin causing it to produce more oil leading to more breakouts.

You’ll save time & have prettier skin if you lighten up on your routine. Try a cleanser & moisturizer like Cetaphil. My dermatologist recommends it over all the expensive stuff.

Is Clearasil facial scrub an effective skin care product? If not, what facial scrub would you recommend?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

I want whiter, clearer skin, and my texture’s gotten rough recently so I wanted to smooth it out a bit =)

Is Clearasil good? ))
Or can you recommend any better face scrubs, and facial lotions as well (I use Aveeno currently)?

clearasil is okay, i have a few of their products but it often dries out your skin and the grains inside the scrubs by clearasil are too big and make your skin rough and it often will break the skin. what i switched to now is clean and clear. any of their face scrubs are great. my favorite one is the oxygenizing face scrub or something with oxygen lol =] its amazing and its blue and it says scrub not wash. but the moisturizers by clean and clear aren’t all that great, i use st. ives collagen and it works wonders. =] my face is all clear now. =]
