I wanted my husband to come and get a mask with me on Saturday but he will not. I told him that at his age he needs to start taking care of his skin. My husband is very handsome but I see that his facial skin is starting to age slightly. A mask would freshen his look.

I think the best way to convince your hubby to have a facial is to do one for him at home first, just a simple cleanse and then a lovely facial massage with some moisturiser or almond oil. He’ll be like putty in your hands….

Always apply products in an upward motion and gently pat products into the eye area, never rub.

I want a really good acne wash that will work fast and clean up my skin, but not completely dry it out. Thanks for any help!

Go to an Ulta store or online and get Philosophy’s Purity cleanser. It is awesome because it cleans really well and acts as a makeup remover and toner and face wash. It isn’t exactly for acne but I wanted to let you know about it. They’re products are not harsh on your skin and they work really well. For the acne try either their Never Let Them See You Shine facial scrub or cleanser because both take care of oil and prevent blemishes without stripping your skin of what it needs. Then I also use their Hope In a Bottle moisturizer because it feels light and helps with acne. I love these skin care products because they’re so much better than all of the drugstore and department store skin care products. For me anyway. Good Luck!

In your own opinion, or from what you might have heard from family or friends, which skin care products work best? (More specifically, which one has the best facial cleansers?) Nivea, Olay, Neutrogena, Clean and Clear, etc. Not necessarily an acne regimen, just a regular facial cleanser. Thanks in advance!

The less products you use, the better for your skin. Some skin and hair care products can cause acne. To help prevent and control acne flare-ups, take good care of your skin. For example, use a mild soap or cleanser to gently wash your face twice a day. Choose “non-comedogenic” make-up and hair care products. This means that they don’t close up the pores. I use a bath wash like Suave Bath & Body Gel, use a washcloth. Treat your face like the rest of your body, take a shower everyday or wash your face everyday.

I am 19 and would like to get great skin. I don’t take care of my skin very well. I do have mild acne, and it is pretty hideous but I’m okay with using concealer for know. I want to start a new facial skin care and would like to try clinique. I already tried proactive but I didn’t like it. So I hope that if I start taking care of my skin my acne will go away and my face will be radiant. Will the clinique 2 step process help me? What are other brands like clinique that can help me if this one doesn’t?

One of the best and certainly a very effective product to eliminate pimples is garlic. Garlic contains antibiotic properties that are proven safe and effective in treating pimples as well as acne. To use it: get whole garlic, mash it and apply it on the face with extra caution on the area rear the eyes. Let the garlic take effect for 10-15 minutes. Then wash it off with warm cloth.

Here are more home remedies to cure pimples:

1. Combine 1 tsp. of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of lemon juice. Apply it to the affected area.
2. Combine cinnamon powder with honey and form it into paste. Right before sleeping, apply the mixture to your face and wash it the next morning. Do this every night for about 2 weeks and you will no longer worry about pimples.
3. Mixing grind nutmeg with milk** will work to remove pimples instantly.
4. Applying an orange peel paste on the area of your face with pimples is another effective way. The orange peel should become a paste by grinding it with little water.
5. For additional protection from the formation of blackheads, combine 1 part fresh lime juice with 1 part groundnut oil. Apply the mixture to your face.
6. Blend raw papaya fruit to create a juice. This includes the seed and the skin. Apply it on swelling pimples.
7. Use boiled milk combined with fresh lime juice as facial wash for cracked skin, blackheads, and pimples.
8. Combine 1 part of rose water to 1 part of lime juice and apply it in the pimples. Leave it for about 20-30 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water.
9. Apply on the affected area for at least 1 hour the pulp of ripe tomatoes. Wash it off with water.
10. Potatoes [make sure they are not genetically modified] grated and applied on affected area can cure pimples. It is also effective on curing boils, whiteheads, blackheads, and other skin blemishes.
11. A powdered pomgranate skin & roasted paste mixed with lime juice can treat pimples effectively. This mixture could also treat whiteheads, blackheads, and boils.
12. Ground radish seeds formed into paste and mixed with water remove blackheads.
13. Mix lime juice with ground drumstick pods and leaves. Apply it on the pimples.
14. Mint juice when applied on every evening can treat pimples as well. It also effective in treating scabies, insect stings, skin infections, and eczema.
15. Combine ground sesame seeds paste with water. Apply it on the affected area. It is also effective in treating skin rashes and allergies.
16. To prevent pimples, apply on the face mixture of fresh fenugreek leaves and water. Wash it on the next day with warm water.
17. Mix an equal amount of groundnut oil and fresh lime juice. Apply it on the affected area. Wash it off after about 10-15 minutes. It also prevents blackheads.

Products where some of the material is clearly harmful to the skin, why should the use of production capacity at home, even a little, is harmful to the skin, and some customers to know, why buy it? Skin care products can only maintain a short-lived beautiful, can not maintain the life ah, or something natural is good, neither damage the health are forever young. Is not it?

I`m not entirely sure what you are saying, but I think I have the general idea.
Skin care is not supposed to be cosmetic. It is for the health of your skin, which is just as important as the health of the rest of your body. However, in today`s society, it had become a cosmetic issue, and is hardly about health. Skin health obviously does lead to better looking skin, but now people will do anything just to get skin LOOKING better, even if it means not going in the healthiest directions.

Some people, like me, choose a more natural route to skin care. It`s free of harsh chemicals and I find it to be much more comfortable and better working. That way, I`m not harming my skin or the environment.

It can be a situation where the more people know about their products, the better. I could just be a lack of knowledge or care for some.
