How to take care of skin at 13?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

I don’t really feel like I’m taking very good care of my skin at my age. At the beginning of the day, I use my face wash, and then I put on my makeup. That’s just pretty much it. Then at the end of the day, I wipe away my eye & face makeup with a baby wipe and just use my face wash again. I feel like I’m missing a bunch of important steps??? What are some good tips for skin care at my age? I have sensitive combo skin, if it helps. Thank you!!!

Probably the only thing you really need to do is use moisturizer. It helps protect your skin and keeps it nourished. Make sure your makeup (if you use foundation) is oil-free and non-comedogenic. That goes for anything you use on your face. If you are not experiencing acne problems there is probably no reason to use any harsh acne medication. Just stick to your regime and add a light moisturizer! :)

i have floaters in eyes and dark spots in face! is it possible to do safe skin surgey to your face do it also safe surgery for eye floaters here?
ds it possible to remove default eye and place a new working eye on them? if yes than what is the percentage of safety after surgery ( imp .. can a animal eye work on human eye socket)?

Most people get floaters eventually and we just learn to live with them. Surgery to remove floaters has not been successful because the vitreous in your eye will just produce more floaters. Very few eye specialists recommend surgery to remove floaters.

If you have vision in your "default" eye, then no eye doctor will replace it with a prosthetic eye. If there was such a thing as a human eye transplant, which there isn’t, no eye surgeon would replace your eye if you can see out of it either. If you have no vision in your bad eye and it is noticeable or disfigured, it could be replaced with a prosthetic eye.

The dark spots on your face can be removed with laser surgery. It will not effect the floaters you currently have and it may not be covered by health insurance. If the dermatologist performing the surgery feels the dark spots could become cancerous, then it would be covered by health insurance.

What should I look for in skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

Well I’m 13 and I’m going out to buy some skin care things soon and all this stuff all over the net just confuses me :(

Well i have black heads on my nose and mostly normal skin with the occasional pimple obviously. I also have bags under my eyes which aren’t dark but I inherited them from my mum apparently, I get a good 8 hours of sleep a day :)

So what products or what ingredients in the products should I look for?

Well congrats on having normal skin (everyone wants that)! I loveeee to buy stuff for my skin, and I’m around that age, so I think this might help:

Start off with a gentle daily cleanser to use twice a day (once in the morning, once at nighttime). I like using natural/organic cleansers. And avoid soap bars for your face, they’re usually too harsh.

But for your blackheads, try getting a scrub, I recommend St Ives. Fresh Skin scrub. I use it on my black head on my nose and on my cheeks, and they’re gone in one use. I swear by it.

Also, pick up a good moisturizing cream, not to thick though. And if you’re out in the sun alot, try getting a sunscreen..preferably one that has sun-protection above 30 (the sun proctetion number should be big, and bold on the bottle)

And for your eyes, you shouldn’t worry about them (everyone has them), but if you get self conscious about them, try getting a concealer that has a yellow-y tint to cancel out the purpleness.

Oh and for pimples, don’t really worry if you get them once in a while, but I would just cover it up with a concealer.

But when you pick up a product, avoid anything that says ’sulfates’ because sulfate dries out your skin, and look for ones that say non-comedogenic, so they won’t clog pores.

Hope this helps!!

What can I use to take care of the skin around my eyes?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

So lately the skin under my eyes has been pretty sensitive which is worrying me. It’s probably because I haven’t been sleeping well. However I want to know if there is anything that I can use to take care of the skin around my eyes. I’m 18 and I really don’t want some anti-aging cream or anything like that, just something that will help make the skin feel good and not so sensitive. Thank so much ^^

You can make your own cream for the cost of a small jar of the drug store variety. Try this system:

HELP ME PLEASE! IM CRYING MY EYES OUT. BEST SKIN CARE?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

I wasted 300 dollars on Merle Norman and its not making my skin any better. whats the best skin care for bad irish, pale, uneven, pimply teenaged skin?
and whats the best foundation that stays on all day and/or helps skin?

I had oily skin with occasional breakouts and made the mistake of getting Clinique. It was awful. It left my skin covered in bumps and I actual developed dry patches. So my mom ordered me Pro Activ. I love it and recommend it to everyone I know that has acne troubles. I noticed a difference in a matter of weeks (like 2)!!

I think you need a good concealer (try Neutrogena). They have medicated concealers for a variety of skin types. Foundation may only exacerbate your acne problems…

Need to find a completely fragrance-free skin care line, cannot even tolerate "natural" scents. Please help!?

I have environmental illness and now at age 56 need to find a good completely fragrance-free skin care system. My skin is very sensitive and also extremely dry. An anti-aging line would be great. Looking for a good cleanser, moisturizer, eye creme etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks!

Here are some links to fragrance free natural lines.. Good Luck

2 words skin.care. & eye.care?!?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

okay. so to begin with my face. i get ALOT of pimples and i dont know why i need a produce that would leave me speachless. please dont recomend something like proactive because my sister orderd it and it didnt work for her. 2nd my eyes. i DONT smoke or ANYTHING like that but i have horrible dark circles. i need sleep. but can i put something on it to make it go away? lastly my vacation a year ago was in D.R and i got HORRIBLE mosquito bites and i kept scratching them :/ i have alot of dark circles on them :( any cream or anything ? i use cocobutter but its not working :/ f my life lol i just want to look clean. none of the 3 above are major things on me but i take them major. thank you <333

For your pimples, I’d suggest Boscia’s Clear Complexion Kit. Even if you have oily skin, you can still use a moisturizer, just one that’s oil-free. I love their Normal to Oily Kit, although if you have acne, Clear Complexion is probably the best. Everything from Boscia is great for sensitive skin, so I don’t think you have to worry about breaking out. There are lots of kits at Sephora for acne; you should check them out.

As for your dark circles, I’d suggest Skyn Iceland’s Eye Relief Pen. I use it and I love it; it helps with dark circles and puffiness, and brightens up your whole eye area. Any eye cream that fights dark circles will work. I agree with the first answerer; you can use concealer, too, to hide your dark undereye circles. Josie Maran, Korres, and tarte all make great concealers. bareMinerals Well Rested Eyes is awesome, too.

Bio-Oil is great for discoloration and scars, etc. You can get it at Walgreens, for $11 or $12. I used it on some discoloration I got from a fall, and it faded so much you can hardly see it anymore.

The first two products are available at Sephora. They’re natural and cruelty-free. Plus, Skyn Iceland and Josie Maran use eco-friendly packaging :) . Bio-Oil is also free of animal testing.

What are some mandatory skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

I need to know what I need in my makeup bag for my face, lips, neck and eye skin. What are some products that I need the MOST? Please list them, thank you! (:

Well, are you talking skin care or makeup? Because your added details would suggest you are talking about makeup.

As for skin care, these are the essentials:
1) Gentle cleanser. If you have sensitive skin in any way, avoid lathering/foaming cleansers. If you can, look for milk or cream cleansers free of surfactants (lathering agents – it should tell you on the packaging if it’s void of these ingredients).
2) Moisturizer. Regardless of skin type, you NEED to moisturize, day and night.
3) Sunscreen. If your AM moisturizer doesn’t have SPF in it, get a separate sunscreen of 30 or so.
4) Exfoliant. This can be a scrub in a tube, or you can even use things like facial sponges or brushes to exfoliate the skin. Some people use washcloths as well. I’ve yet to find a method that doesn’t bother my skin too much, as my skin is quite sensitive.
5) Makeup remover. You should NEVER use your cleanser as both a cleanser and makeup remover, because then you are washing your face with both the cleanser AND your makeup. You can use regular vegetable oils to remove your makeup; grape seed oil and watermelon seed oil are well known for being great for all skin types, especially acne prone. Watermelon seed oil is also supposed to really help dissolve sebum (oil) which may help with blackheads, and grape seed oil has astringent properties that are great for acne or oily skin. Both are very light weight as well.
6) Lip balm. One with SPF and one for use indoors/at night.

If you are meaning makeup, then I would list these are my "must haves":
1) Lip gloss. This is great on the run, because it will add colour and sheen to the lips without having to take extra time to apply it smoothly, like with lip stick.
2) Mascara, for obvious reasons.
3) Blush. If you have dull skin or don’t often have a flushed appearance, blush works great to brighten up the skin.
4) Highlighter. This is great around the eyes (brow bone, tear duct, outer corner) to make your eyes look bigger and more awake. I usually just use a sheer, pearly off-white cream shadow as my highlight.
5) Concealer for any blemishes or dark circles that need covering.
6) Sheer or light powder or foundation to help even your skin tone out. I prefer the powder as it’s easier and less hassle.
7) Brow powder. If you have very full brows, this isn’t needed, but for anyone with thinner or sparser brows, this is very important to help give your brows some structure and give your face more definition.

If you were looking for specific products, I cannot help you. 1) we likely do not have the same or similar skin type 2) our skin chemistry is completely different 3) there are no products that work for everyone, as all products work differently for everyone.
I like to use review websites to find products, try them out and then return what doesn’t work. This has helped me to pinpoint my skin irritants and helped me discover certain ingredients that break me out, as well as helped me to pinpoint my skin needs.
The websites I use:
http://www.makeupalley.com
http://www.totalbeauty.com (very seldom, as reviews are quite poor)
And then I will search for specific products in a search engine and check out other blogs or review websites to read more opinions on the product.

Which one is better- clean and clear or simple skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

i have small pimples and some rough bumps at the area below the eye and nearer to the nose. My nose is always oily, but my cheeks are just fine. I have some dark spots due to previous pimples. And I really want to get the clean skin that I used to have about 2 years ago. So what type of skin do I have and which skin product should I use?

I would stay away from clean and clear it has alot of alcohol in it which dries up your skin which you lead you to more pimples. If you are looking for a simple skin care product that works really good I would go with witch hazel. Also make sure that you are not using your body wash on your face most body wash has sulfates in in which is bad for your face. You can find witch hazel at almost any grocery or drug store and it is is relatively cheap.
