Those companies are NOT all natural….they claim to be but look at a bottle of Body Shop Coconut body was and lotion..full of chemiclas such as parabens…yuck…I just bought some and didn’t read the label, and I am having to throw it out. Personally, I love Burt’s Bees and am also liking the Kiss My Face lip balm I just bought.

extra tips if you suffer from acne…

-remember to wash your pillowcase regularly, especially if you’re a face-sleeper (like me) because bacteria latches onto it quickly!

-when talking on the phone, try not to press it against your cheek/chin/face because, like your pillow, it amasses a lot of bacteria quickly! think about it: you’re constantly touching it with dirty hands while texting, you drop it on the floor, etc.

I wanted my husband to come and get a mask with me on Saturday but he will not. I told him that at his age he needs to start taking care of his skin. My husband is very handsome but I see that his facial skin is starting to age slightly. A mask would freshen his look.

How do I convince him to come and get a mask?

I think the best way to convince your hubby to have a facial is to do one for him at home first, just a simple cleanse and then a lovely facial massage with some moisturiser or almond oil. He’ll be like putty in your hands….

This is just my experience. Retin-A has done nothing but wonderful things for my skin.
Please do your own research before using it (there are a lot of reviews on makeupalley.com, or search pubmed.com for scientific articles on Retin-A if you´re interested), and listen to your dermatologist´s advice!

The way to go with Retin-A is “Start low, go slow”, because this is not a daily moisturizer. Start with the 0.025% and don´t be discouraged by the initial side effects because they will go away! If the flaking and redness is really bad, you can mix it 1:1 with a gentle moisturizer, applying it 1-3 times week, then slowly (over the course of several weeks, depending on how sensitive your skin is) work your way up to nightly application.

Don´t apply it during the day because the active ingredient tretinoin breaks down when exposed to UV-rays. And don´t forget to always use sunscreen

I don’t really feel like I’m taking very good care of my skin at my age. At the beginning of the day, I use my face wash, and then I put on my makeup. That’s just pretty much it. Then at the end of the day, I wipe away my eye & face makeup with a baby wipe and just use my face wash again. I feel like I’m missing a bunch of important steps??? What are some good tips for skin care at my age? I have sensitive combo skin, if it helps. Thank you!!!

Probably the only thing you really need to do is use moisturizer. It helps protect your skin and keeps it nourished. Make sure your makeup (if you use foundation) is oil-free and non-comedogenic. That goes for anything you use on your face. If you are not experiencing acne problems there is probably no reason to use any harsh acne medication. Just stick to your regime and add a light moisturizer!
