What LINE of Skin Care products should I use?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

I want a cleanser, toner, exfolliant and moisturiser and eye cream. I want all the products from the same line, Im tired of using a mix of this and that. I just turned 30, and my skin is combination oily and dry. What is BOTH affordabe and good???

I used to work for Lancome, which admiteddly expensive. If you can afford it my 1st choice would be Primordiale (£32 a jar – 50ml). Its got anti oxidants in to prevent daily pollution and sun damage. Also SPF 15. If your budget is smaller heres a secret – L’oreal are owned by Lancome and a lot of their products are just as good as Lancome. You can get a full range of products (your full regime) for about £30/40 for everything!.

If your skin is combination you can get away with using any type of moisteriser. Look out for one with any SPF in (at least factor 15)as, now you are in your 30s you really need to start protecting your face from sun damage, it will be too late at 50!

Good luck

The Body Shop Aloe Vera facial skin care range. Your experiences?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: facial skin care products

My skin has always been super sensitive and since I was a teenager I have tried the following ranges: No7, Simple, Clinique and Avene. I had beautiful skin before I used Clinique 3 step and it messed it up completely. Now I am using Avene range but I am not completely satisfied with it. I am thinking fo switching to the Body Shop Aloe vera facial products btu I don’t want to waste my money. Are they very good? And are they really suitable for sensitive skin?

From personal experience of having sensitive skin I used the body shop aloe Vera facial, honestly it was good on my skin however I couldn’t afford to keep up with it, so I recently grew my own aloe Vera plant. Every week or so I split a leaf open with my fingers (with clean hands) and rub the aloe on my face with a small amount of warm water. I think you should give it a go try both, but I would advise you to leave it on for around 10 Min’s just to be sure you don’t get a bad reaction. If it doesn’t work out email me as i have some natural remedies for sensitive skin. All the best.

What are some good natural skin care products?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: natural skin care product

That aren’t overly expensive…It’s fine if they are store brand as long as they do not have harsh chemicals… I’m looking at St.Ives and Burt Bees but its super expensive… I need a cleanser, scrub, moisturizer, astringent, and spot treatment. Thanks!I have normal skin but it’s sensitive to harsh chemicals. I don’t have a horrible amount of acne it’s just here and there. Normally my face is clear but when I do break out it is normally on my cheeks and forehead and it’s an amount that I can count it’s never horribley bad. Also I live in the hills in California…Near LA and Hollywood? I don’t know if the elevation would affect it? And i’m 15 so that would probably affect it also…
Again thank you so much!

Especially if you have skin that’s senstive and breaks out every once and a while, try using products that have no perfume and are super gentle. Cetaphil cleanser at first seems really boring and like it’s not doing anything…but for me it really evens out my skin tone (no redness) and keeps away pimples. If you have sensitive skin, just skip the astringent and splash your face with cold water before moisturizing. The best natural spot treatment is tea tree oil…buy a bottle at your local food coop. Put it on pimples at night, and you will be amazed by how well it works. You can also just mix a few drops into your moisturizer.

Instead of buying a scrub, try this: crush two aspirin tablets into a bit of cetaphil cleanser, and let it sit a bit so the aspirin softens into the cream. Use it as an exfoliant– the aspirin has an acid that loosens up dead skin cells. This should not irritate your skin..so fewer pimples.

Has anyone used the skin care line Be.fine??

Hello! I went to the CVS pharmacy and looked at the skin care line because I want to try a new lotion for my skin. I have been using Burt Bee’s for a while, and I want try something different. I have heard good reviews about the products and I would like to know for those of you who have tried it, are the products good? Is it worth spending that much money??
Here is the website: http://www.befine.com

Not me and no those prices is not worth it.

Im a guy with fair skin. How do i take care of the skin on my face?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: skin face care

The skin on my face is often very dry on my nose and cheeks and red. I have moderate to little acne, but really not too bad. How can i solve these skin problems without getting too gay on the skin-care products?

Don’t worry about what is "gay". No one has to know what you put on your skin, and no one will know unless you tell them. Don’t worry about it.

First, wash your face with something like Neutrogena oil-free acne wash. Then use something with Benzoyl Peroxide (On the Spot or Clearasil) – get something with 2.5%, not the Maximum strength if you have sensitive skin. After you apply the zit cream, use some non-comedogenic lotion, like Cetaphil, or find something that says "non-comedogenic" and also has sunscreen.

Is this a Good Skin Care Regime for Someone My age?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: eye skin care

I am 23 year old female. I finally have good skin. I want to keep my skin looking great

Morning: Noxema wash. Aveeno luminous daily moisturizer with SPF 15.

Night: Noxema wash.
Burt’s Bees eye cream
Then, I alternate nightly between pure vitamin E oil, Burt’s Bees Night cream, and prescription Retin-A gel.

Yeah its not bad at all. also a tip: I had a lot worse skin than i have now. but after i went on the pill i rarely get pimples etc. so maybe that’s an idea.
